This collaboration incorporates the sculpture of two visual artists and the composition of one sound artist. Despite the sculptures’ differences in concept, scale, and appearance, Ken Huston and R.L. Croft have overlapping influences and incorporate found or cannibalized objects into their work.

In a similar manner, the sound artist uses the sculptures as found objects for his compositions. Andy Charneco’s work is based entirely on recorded sounds taken from the sculptures and the voices of all three artists in conversation. This aural material is then altered and arranged. The resulting composition is an independent artwork, commanding equal presence among the physical objects, one that forms a keystone between the three.

The exhibition creates a whole built on three highly unique approaches: three movements within one larger composition. It is a synesthetic experience--with the visual stimulating aural sensations, and the composition evoking the visual.
